17 February 2025
The release notes for version 2025.1 of the EikoTwin suite are now available. Find out what’s new!
The EikoTwin 2025.1 release includes new features for all software in the suite! Find out about the main new features here.

These improvements are also available in EikoTwin DIC and EikoTwin Digital Twin.
- New “tips” panel: important information at your fingertips
- Plot strain fields at mesh nodes or elements
- Selective simulation import: import only the time steps you need for faster processing.

- Add projectors and manage lighting
- Export communication videos with distorted configuration
- Save CharUco and camera presets
- Add precalibration paths and coordinate export management

- Automatic meshing: define the mesh directly on the image for 2D and 3D cases. Calibration is much faster for the simplest cases – get a result in less than 3 minutes!
- DIC/marker tracking: Process images as they are written to disk
- Process markers alone without DIC measurement for faster processing times
- Brightness and contrast correction at calibration: improve convergence rate and convergence chances, avoid reflection artifacts
- Export CSV files and a python script compatible with Ansys Workbench

- Creation of extruded boundary conditions: take into account local deformation when applying boundary conditions
- Strain criterion: use strain gauges to calibrate complex models
